History and relations of E-commerce and World Wide Web
E-commerce term was coined and first employed by Dr. Robert Jacobson, Principal Consultant to the California State Assembly's Utilities & Commerce Committee, in the title and text of California's Electronic Commerce Act, carried by the late Committee Chairwoman Gwen Moore (D-L.A.) and enacted in 1984.
The World Wide Web is an information space where documents and other web resources are identified and interlinked by URL’s and hypertext and accessed via the Internet. The World Wide Web was designed by an English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989.
Electronic commerce which is also known as e-commerce, is the trading or facilitation of trading in products or services using computer networks. Modern e-commerce uses the World Wide Web for its transactions but it may also use other technology it got.
